Auto-reply
When enabled, Goose will automatically draft and send replies to incoming emails based on the context of the conversation and your agent’s memory. This is useful for:- Responding to common inquiries
- Acknowledging receipt of messages
- Following up on ongoing threads
Approval workflow
If you want to stay in the loop, you can set up an approval workflow instead of fully automatic replies:- Goose drafts a reply when an email comes in.
- You get notified via Slack or Telegram with the draft.
- You approve, edit, or reject the reply.
- Once approved, Goose sends it.
Configuring mailbox actions
- Go to Settings > Mailbox in your agent.
- Toggle auto-reply on or off.
- If using approval workflows, connect your Slack or Telegram account in Settings > Integrations.
- Set your preferred notification channel.
