Apify — web scraping & automation

Gooseworks includes a managed Apify integration. Apify is a web scraping and automation platform with hundreds of pre-built actors for collecting data from websites. What you can do with Apify:
  • Scrape LinkedIn profiles, posts, and job listings
  • Extract data from Product Hunt, Hacker News, Reddit, and Twitter/X
  • Pull e-commerce product data and pricing
  • Automate any data collection workflow via Apify’s actor library
Apify actors run on Gooseworks’s managed key — no Apify account required. Usage is billed in credits based on the actual cost of each run. Just ask Goose what you need: “Scrape all comments on this Reddit thread” or “Find all job postings at Stripe on LinkedIn”.

Orthogonal — on-demand API marketplace

Orthogonal gives Goose access to a marketplace of hundreds of third-party APIs that are especially useful for go-to-market workflows. Goose can search the marketplace, find the right API for the job, and call it in a single conversation. What you can do with Orthogonal:
  • Enrich leads with email addresses, phone numbers, and company data
  • Find decision-makers and contacts at target companies
  • Pull firmographic data (headcount, funding, tech stack, etc.)
  • Look up social profiles and engagement data
No API keys required — Orthogonal runs on Gooseworks’s managed key and bills credits based on the actual cost of each API call. Just describe what you need: “Find the email address and LinkedIn for the VP of Engineering at Acme Corp”.

Custom MCP servers

For advanced users, you can connect any Model Context Protocol (MCP) server to give Goose access to custom tools or internal systems.

Adding a custom MCP server

  1. Go to Settings > MCP Servers.
  2. Click Add Server.
  3. Enter the server URL (HTTP or SSE transport).
  4. Configure any required authentication.
  5. Goose will discover the server’s available tools automatically.
See the MCP Servers concept doc for more details.

Environment variables

Some tools and integrations require API keys or secrets. Store them securely so Goose can use them without exposing them in chat:
  1. Go to Settings > Environment Variables.
  2. Add your key with a descriptive name (e.g. GITHUB_TOKEN).
  3. The key is encrypted at rest and available to Goose during tool execution.

Google Sheets enrichment

Goose can read a Google Sheet, enrich each row with research data, and write the results back:
  1. Connect Google Sheets from Settings > MCP Servers.
  2. Share the sheet URL with Goose in chat.
  3. Describe what enrichment you need (e.g., “find the LinkedIn URL and employee count for each company in column A”).
  4. Goose will process each row and populate the results.
