Goose can generate ad creatives for you by remixing proven ad templates with your own brand. The work runs on Goose-hosted generation workflows, so completed ads consume credits from your organization’s balance.

How it works

Ad generation is a remix flow: you start from an existing ad (a template from the catalog, a community ad, or one you upload), and Goose re-creates it using your brand’s look, products, and messaging. Every remix draws from your brand kit — your logo, colors, product images, and positioning. The brand kit is the source of truth for how your ads look, so keeping it accurate is the single biggest lever on output quality.

Setting up your brand

Before generating, make sure your brand is set up:
  1. Run brand research (Goose can do this from a website URL) or fill in the brand details yourself.
  2. Add product images and any reference creatives you want Goose to draw from.
  3. Review the brand kit — colors, logo, tone, and key messaging.
Goose reuses this brand kit on every remix, so you only set it up once and refine it over time.

Generating ads

You can generate ads two ways:
  • In the app — Pick a template (or bring your own), choose your settings, and start a remix batch. Completed creatives appear in your gallery.
  • From your coding agent (CLI) — Use the GooseWorks MCP tools (estimate_remix_batch, submit_remix_batch, get_remix_batch, regenerate_creative) to drive the same remix pipeline from Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex. See Coding agents for setup.

Bring your own ad

On the create flow you can upload or paste a source ad you like. Goose analyzes it and remixes it through the same pipeline, applying your brand to its layout and style.

What affects output and cost

A few settings change both the look of your ads and how many credits a batch uses:
SettingEffect
Number of variantsMore variants = more completed images = more credits
Aspect ratiosEach requested ratio is generated separately
Image model / engineDifferent engines have different per-image costs
Quality / effort tierHigher tiers cost more per completed image
For exact per-image pricing, reservations, and how billing settles when a batch finishes, see How credits are used.

Tips for better ads

  • Keep your brand kit current — accurate colors, logo, and product images do more than any single setting.
  • Start with one or two variants to check direction before generating a larger batch.
  • If a single creative misses, regenerate just that one rather than re-running the whole batch.
  • Pick templates close to the format you want; the remix stays truest to layouts it can map cleanly onto your brand.

Common issues

Ads don’t match my brand
  • Check the brand kit for the wrong logo, colors, or outdated product images.
  • Add reference creatives that show the style you’re aiming for.
A batch produced fewer ads than expected
  • Some images can fail or be filtered during generation. Reserved-but-unused credits are released back to your balance when the batch finishes.
