# WhatsApp

> Chat with Goose on WhatsApp

Connect Goose to WhatsApp so you can message it from your phone.

## How it works

Goose connects to WhatsApp as a contact. You send it messages and it responds just like it would in the web interface — with full access to your agent, skills, and memory.

## Setting up WhatsApp

1. Go to **Settings** > **Integrations** in your agent.
2. Click **Connect WhatsApp**.
3. You'll receive a link code — send it to the provided WhatsApp number within 10 minutes.
4. Once linked, you can message Goose directly on WhatsApp.

## What you can do

* **Chat on the go** — Send messages and get responses from anywhere.
* **Full capabilities** — Same access to skills, files, and tools as the web interface.
* **Receive notifications** — Get email approval alerts and automation updates via WhatsApp.
* **Multiple connections** — Link multiple WhatsApp numbers to the same agent.

## Tips

* Each WhatsApp conversation maps to an agent session, so context is maintained.
* Great for quick questions or checking in on running automations when you're away from your desk.
* You can disconnect and reconnect at any time from **Settings** > **Integrations**.
