# Product photos

> Turn your product images into clean studio, lifestyle, and on-model photography

**Product Photos** takes the product images you already have and generates publish-ready
photography from them — clean studio shots, lifestyle scenes, and on-model looks — while
keeping the product itself faithful (silhouette, materials, logo, colorway). The photos you
approve join your **brand kit**, so they're ready to use when you generate ads.

<Note>
  Product Photos lives at [make.gooseworks.ai/product-photos](https://make.gooseworks.ai/product-photos). You can also drive the whole flow from an AI agent — see [Ad Remixer MCP](/ad-remixer/mcp#product-photos).
</Note>

## Add a product

Every shoot starts from a product. On the **Product Photos** catalog you can import one from:

* **A URL** — a Shopify store, a product page, or a direct image URL. Goose fetches the
  product (and, for a store, its catalog) and re-hosts the images.
* **An image upload** — drop in a photo of the product and give it a name.

Imported products carry their variants and catalog images, which become the source the
generator builds from.

## Shoot a product

Open a product to enter the **studio**:

1. **Pick the source images** the AI builds from — the first is the main reference; add other
   angles for a truer result.
2. **Choose the look** — the setting, whether the product appears alone or with a model,
   framing, and lighting. Sensible defaults are applied per product category.
3. **Add a prompt** (optional) to steer the shot with your own words.
4. **Pick how many** photos and the quality, then **Generate**. Each photo is judged for
   product fidelity and re-tried automatically if it misses — retries are free.

## Approve to your brand kit

Generated photos land in the **Generated** tab. A photo isn't used anywhere until you
**approve** it:

* **Approve** links the photo to its product and adds it to your **brand kit**, where the
  ad-generation flow can use it.
* **Archive** removes a photo from consideration — archived photos are **never** used in ads.

## Use in ads

Once approved, your product photos are available as brand assets in the
[Create](/ad-remixer/creating-ads) flow, so the ads you generate can draw on your best,
on-brand product imagery.

## Credits

Each generation reserves credits up front based on the photo count and quality; you're only
billed for photos that pass, and automatic retries are included free. Check your balance any
time from the studio's cost estimate.
